A Note from Pastor David:
Easter is upon us! APRIL 5th! Jesus is alive! Our subject for the new series starting on Easter Sunday is FORGIVENESS. We all need to learn to forgive readily just as we have been forgiven. Forgiveness is one of the themes of Resurrection Sunday! Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again to prove that he was, is, and will forever be God making the way for all of humanity (past, present, and future generations) along with every race, creed, and color to be forgiven of their sins. Jesus even died for those who have hurt you, abused you, and lied to you. He died for your enemy as much as he died for you. He became the one time sacrifice to meet the need of all our greatest problem. We all need forgiveness! Join us the next four weeks as we move through the story of Joseph who like Jesus was cruelly mistreated but rose from the pit to pinnacle.
Additionally, Sunday will be a busy day of firsts! Our church will have three English services for the first time. Services will be tighter than normal. With only 15 minutes between each one, we will be starting the next about as quickly as we finish the previous. The lobby, sanctuary, and children’s areas will be a hustle and bustle of activity. Many first time guests will be present. Can I encourage you to worship in one service and work in another? We are going to need all hands on deck to meet the needs of new guests, young families, and those trying to understand what this Easter is really all about. As we do every Sunday, we want to demonstrate wonderful hospitality to everyone who comes through the doors or is watching online. Some will be baptized making their decision for Christ public of the first time. We have a few who have already signed up. It’s not too late for you! Baptisms will be available in all service times. Call the church office if you desire to be baptized on Easter Sunday!
Invite your family and friends! The office still has invite cards so that you can let anyone and everyone know that we have “four services” this year. Three are in English, and the fourth in Spanish. The times are 8:30am, 10am, 1130am, and 1:30pm (Spanish). If you have some spare time on your hands this week, would you come get invite cards to place them in offices, laundry mats, grocery stores, or your neighborhood this week. People are trying to figure out where their are going to church. In my opinion, we have something really good to offer.
As we begin to move toward Summer, please help us remember the significance of given faithfully and regularly. Late Spring and Summer months trend toward less giving and more expense. One way that you could help is to set up your regular giving on an automatic plan. This procedure helps us to plan for unexpected situations. We really appreciate your faithfulness!
The Legacy X Capital Campaign continues. This first quarter of the year, we have paid down the principle of our loan by nearly $150,000. That’s a lot! Monitoring the payments tells us that now more of our payment will go toward the principle each month…maybe as much as $2000 more monthly. Our CLEAN OUT THE CLUTTER Rummage Sale produced some great connections with our community and hopefully people were able to clean out their closets, garage, and other storage areas. Let’s continue to work on our cluttered homes, offices, and other areas but especially our minds and hearts.

Giving Matters
In 2025, we launched the Legacy X capital campaign as a step of faith toward the future of Watershed. This campaign is about creating space for people, ministry, and continued growth. Your generosity plays a real role in helping us move forward together.
Care and Prayer
2025 marked the launch of our Care Ministry. Through hospital visits, home visits, and moments of need, our care team stepped in to support people right where they were. Alongside this, our prayer ministry continued to grow, faithfully lifting up needs and covering our church in prayer.
